in ∆ABD &∆ACD

AD=AD. (common)

angle ADB= angle ADC. ( both 90)

angle ABD= angle ACD. (given)

therefore ,∆ABD &∆ACD are congruent by RHS

So, AB=AC. (by CPCT)
