If n the term of an ap is given by n²+2
Then 1st term =3
2nd term= 6
3rd term =11
4th term= 18
Since u can see difference between any two term is not same as the difference between any other two terms this means thatvthis is not an ap series
Therefor n²+1 cannot be nth term
