Prove that the opposite angles 'of a parallelogram are equal. For this, draw a diagonal of the parallelogram to divide it into two triangles. Now, show that the two triangles so formed are congruent. Can you conclude your proof from this? How? PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION

We know that JK || ML and the transversal JK interest the two parallel lines

In ∆ JML and ∆ LKJ :

We know that

<MJK = <KLJ {alternate interior angle}

<KJL = <MLJ {alternate interior angle}

JL = LJ (common side)

thus, the two triangle are congruent by A.S.A congruence of triangle.

Since , JML LJK, <M = <K, which proves that the opposite angles of the parallelogram are equal .
