yr take 2 common frm equation secod and divide with10 then this will follow the rule of coincides line which meant too

x+y=5    and

2x+2y=10,

for these two equations to have infinite solutions these lines should coincide with each other to get infinite common points [infinite solutions]

therefore, we have the condition

a1 /a2 =b1 / b2 = c1 / c2

and as you can see here,

1/2 = 1/2 = 5/10 = 1/2

therefore, these equations will coincide and have infinite number of solutions........
