Prove that the perimeter of a triangle is greater than the sum of the three altitudes

Consider a triangle ABC with the altitudes D,E,F respectively.When the figure is drawn these triangles form 3 right angled triangles.And in a right angled triangle the hypotenuse is the longest side.When the diagram is considered the sided AB,BC,CA will be the hypotenuses and the sum of these makes the perimeter which is greater than the sum of altitudes.
