Find the distance between all of them
Distance AB, BC, CD, AD is same
so it's a rhombus
and distance AC and BD is same
so it's a rectangle

Let the points be
A(1.7) B(4,2) C(-1,-1) D(-4,4)
Using distance formula
AB=√(x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²√
=(4-1)²+(2-7)²
=9+25
=√34
BC=(-1-4)²+(-1-2)²
=25+9
=√34
Similarly CD and AD is equal to √34
Therefore AB=BC=CD=DA
