Prove that the points (-5, -3) (1, -11) (7, -6) (1, 2) are the vertices of parallelogram​

Answer:

Let the points A(-5, -3), B(1, -11), C(7, -6), D(1, 2)

Midpoint  \: of \:  AC \:  =  ( \frac{ - 5 + 7}{2}   ,  \frac{ - 3 - 6}{2}) = ( 1 , \frac{ - 9}{2} )

Midpoint  \: of  \: BD \:  = ( \frac{1 + 1}{2}  , \frac{ - 11 + 2}{2} ) = (1 , -  \frac{9}{2} )

Since, Midpoint of BD = Midpoint of AC

Hence, its a parallelogram.
