Pressure at H = h x density x g '
g'= g{ 1- 2h /R }
h= pressure / density x g' ----------- ( 1 )

Now Pressure at D= d x density x g''
g'' = g{ 1- d/R }

d= pressure D / density x g'' '-----------( 2 )
dividing eq 1 by 2
we get
h = R- d
___ _____
d R - 2d
it may be help you .....
