Both the lines are perpendicular to the transversal, so the corresponding angle is equal to 90°. Hence both the lines are parallel.

perpendicular means lines are at 90deg

two lines from a straight line would be parallel if they form equal angle with that straight line.

as here both the lines make 90 deg angles which are equal so these lines would be parallel to each other.
