answer:-

surface area of sphere=4πr^2

C.S.A of cylinder=2πrh

S.A of sphere = C.S.A of cylinder

4πr^2 = 2πrh

4/2 ×π × r × r= π × r ×h

2r=h

C.S.A of cylinder= 2πrh

put h=2r in C.S.A of cylinder

= 2×π×r×2×r

4πr^2

hence proved,surface area of sphere is equal to the curved surface area of cylinder.
