Given:-
Tangent AB and AC are on points B and C.
To prove
AB=AC
construction :
join O to A
O to C
and
O to B
proof :-
in triangle aoc and triangle aob
angle oca = angle oba( both 90°)
ob = oc (radius of circle)
oa = oa (common)
hence, triangle aoc congruent to triangle aobv(by rhs)
Hence,
ab = ac (cpct)
