SEE THE FIGURE AND PLZ CONSIDER "~" as SIGN FOR ANGLE

Let AB be the diameter and PQ and RS be two tangents at it's ends.

We know, tangent is Perpendicular to radius.

so ~1 = ~2 = 90°

As ~1 and ~2 are cointerior angles with sum 180° so PQ||RS
