Prove that triangle ABC is isosceles if any one of following holds (1) altitude AD bisects (2) median AD is perpendicular to the base BC.​

When the altitude AD bisects that means two equal triangles are formed which are equal in their angles and the length of the base. And since base and length are same the other two sides are same forming an isosceles triangle.
