In ∆ABD and ∆ADC,

AD=AD(Common)

Angle ADB=Angle ADC(90°)

Angle B=Angle C(45°)

Hence, ∆ABD and ∆ADC are similar...

90°+ Angle B + Angle C= 180°

Angle B + Angle C= 90°
