prove that under root 5 is an irrational number hence show that 3plus2under root 5 is also an irrational number

Under root 5 is irrational number because it does not have a perfect square root and thus, it can't be written in the form of p/q.
And 3 + 2 under root 5 is also irrational number because the sum of rational and irrational numbers is always irrational numbers ( because you know that under root five is an irradiation number ).

 \sqrt{5}  is an irrational number since it cannot be a perfect square number and cannot be expressed in form of p/q .

3+2 \sqrt{5} is also a  irrational number because we know that the sum of rational number and irrational number is always a irrational number and since in this number  \sqrt{5} is a irrational number the whole term is a irrational number.
