square on both sides
x^2=(5-3root2)^2
x^2=25-18

Answer: Yes this Irrational

Step-by-step explanation:

5-3=2 which leaves 2\sqrt{2} and rational number is a perfect square so  the square root of to would be irrational and 2 is a real number/an whole number so its rational and rational + irrational is an irrational number
