Prove the area of triangle ABC is 8 cm² in which AB=AC = 4 cm and <A = 90°.​

if <A =90°, then triangle ABC is a right angled triangle with AB and AC as its base and height respectively.

We know that area of a right angled triangle is 1/2*basa*height

so the area of this triangle is

1/2*4*4=8cm^2
