The magnitude of the moment of couple or torque is equal to the product of one of theforces and the perpendicular distance between the lines of action of the two forces.

hey!!

here is ur answer!!

The moment of couple is numerically equal to the product of force and arm of the couple.

Explaination :

torque = moment of force acting at A + moment of force acting at B

=> F * OA + F *OB

=> F *( OA+OB)

=> F. L.

where L = AB

AB = The perpendicular distance between the forces forming a couple is known as its arm.

hope it helps uh!!

thanks!!
