sec²a-tan²a = 1

sec²a = 1+tan²a

and,

cota = cosa/sina

cosec²a = 1/sin²a

using all these values in question we get ,

(1 + tan^A) cot A/cosec^A= tan A

= sec²a*(cosa/sina)/(1/sin²a)

= seca*sin²a/sina

= seca*sina

= sina/cosa

= tana (Proved)
