LHS: (sec Θ+ cosΘ)(sec Θ+cos Θ)

=sec^{2} O+cos^{2} O+2secOcosO

(using (a+b)(a+b) identity)

=sec^{2} O+cos^{2}+2

(as secΘcosΘ=1)

=1+tan^{2}O -1+sin^{2} O

=tan2Θ+sec2Θ

=RHS
