Hold a medicine dropper inside a transparent bucket of water release the air in the dropper by pressing it observe the sides of the air Bubbles as they move towards the surface of water you will find that the size of bubbles increases as they move towards the surface this is due to increase in the pressure applied by the water on them

Aim:

Aim: To prove that liquid exerts pressure.

Materials required:

football, pin, water Procedure: 1. Take a football and using a sharp pin, make a small hole in it. 2. Fill water through that hole, till it is completely filled. 3. Now make some more holes on the other sides of the ball. 4. Squeeze the ball. What do you observe?

Observations:

You will observe that water comes out of all the holes with the same speed. This proves that a liquid exerts pressure in all directions.
