Answer:

(x+√2)

=> x = - √2

now,

p(x) = (2√2x^2 + 5x +√2)

p(-√2) = {2√2(-√2)^2 + 5(-√2) +√2}

= (2√2 × 2 - 5√2 + √2)

= 4√2 - 5√2 +√2

= -√2 +√2

= 0

it proves that (x+√2 ) is the factor of (2√2x^2 +5x + √2)
