Pride here means to have too high an opinion of oneself, one’s position and possession.  Pride makes a person think that he is superior to others.  Our achievements in life are due to our pains and hard work.  But we should never be proud of accomplishments in life.  Whenever pride begins to act, there begins our adversity.  A proud man will have little consideration for others and treats others with contempt.  He who has pride will finally suffer defeat or meet with a shameful end.  When a proud man meets with a bad end, others will have no sympathy for him.  History is full of examples of powerful monarchs who came to ruin as a result of their proud nature.  King John of England met with a shameful end due to his proud and overbearing nature.  The vanity of the French emperors and the Russian Czars brought about their downfall.  As we attain high positions in life, we should become more and more humble.  There lies our true worth.  A proud man should be aware of the reality that a day will come when the happiness and comfort given by pride will give way to the pain of humiliation.  In short, the true quality of a man is humility, not pride.

We often become overconfident in our abilities and began to think you are undefeatable .but this causes us to lose focus nvn doc feeling this is because bride makes us blindto our mistakes and hence pride never wins the proverb pride goes on horseback but returns on food teaches us the same.

every person has something the Excel at ,but this does not mean that one must give into pride and we can to believe that nobody could defeat us. Often when a person Excel The princess and complements of others make him so arrogant that he began to believe that he cannot make mistakes search a person is said to be on horseback running away from the truth believing that is racing past everyone else

but in order to achieve success it is very important to realise once mistake and always keep learning this is possible only when we are open to listening to others and accepting our mistakes humbly. But a proud person ignores this and fails, this returning on 'foot' , having lost their speed.

The most famous example of failure of being too proud as per as well known hare who was over confident in his ability to defeat the tortoise that he decided to take some rest and this led to his loss even though he was first and the tortoise he lost because pride makes one blind to our mistake the proverb therefore wants us of the dangers of being too proud and ask us to live a humble life.
