Cons
There has been instances when women have falsely accused or used these campaigns to their personal gains. Any moral issue can easily be linked with abuses, and ironically, people have supported these. In third world countries, it is sometime seen as women are always suffering, which is not the case.

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November and runs until 10 December. November 25 is also known as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. December 10 is called the Human Rights Day.
