In engineering analysis vector field represents both a direction and a magnitude. For example, forced displacement, velocities, and also accelerations. They are represented as vector field.

Forced displacement, is also known as forced migration. It is a coerced movement by a person away from their home region. It results external causes like natural disasters, ethnic cleansing, violence and other persecution.

Velocity vector is the vector that shows the rate of difference in a position of object. The magnitude of this vector gives speed to a object, on the other hand direction of velocity vector gives the direction.

Science application in two and three dimensions:

Two-dimensional materials are obtained from large number of materials or self-build from the micro-molecules. Graphene is an great example of two-dimensional atomic crystals.
