We know that,

Therefore,
tan 3x = tan (2x + x)
tan 3x = tan 2x + tan x / 1 - tan 2x. tan x
tan 3x - tan 3x. tan 2x. tan x = tan 2x + tan x
tan 3x. tan 2x. tan x = tan 3x - tan 2x - tan x
