2. the female parent produces female gametes called ova . the ovum is a much bigger cell then the sperm , having a lot of cytoplasm

3. the sperm entwes into ovum and fuses with it to form a new cell called zygote this process us called fertilization so the zygote is a fertilized ovum.

4. the zygote then divides again and again to form a large number of cells and ultimately zygote grows and develops to become a new baby
