PQ = PR

PS is an altitude.

To show :

PS bisects P

Proof :

In Triangle PQS and PRS

PQ = PR ( Given)

angle PQS = angle PRS ( opposite angles of equal sides)

PS = PS ( Common)

 \: \:triangle \: \: \: pqs\cong \: \: triangle \: \: \: \: prs \: ( \: by \: sas \: )

Angle QPS = Angle RPS. ( By CPCT)

Therefore, PS bisects P.
