Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter=12cm

Radius 6cm

PQ=QR=RS

IF THE DIAMETER IS 12cm

then each part will be

3PQ=12

PQ=4cm

So area of first semicircle with diameter 8cm

radius=4cm

Area=1/2πr²

=1/2xπx4²

=1/2xπx16

=8πcm²

Area of semicircle with diameter PQ(4cm)

Radius=2cm

Area=1/2πr²

=1/2xπx2²

=1/2xπx4

=2πcm²

Area of shaded region=Area of semicircle I + Area of semicircle II

=8π+2π

=10π

=10x22/7

=220/7

=31.4cm²

HOPE IT IS HELPFUL
