Given : ΔPSE ≈  Δ TSV

PS= 4.4cm, SE= 5.1cm,  PE = 5.5cm

PS/TS = 5/3

To Find : Construct ΔPSE and   Δ TSV

Solution:

ΔPSE ≈  Δ TSV

PS/TS  = PE/TV  = SE / SV  = 5/3

Construct ΔPSE

Step  1:   Draw  a line segment PS = 4.4 cm

Step 2 : Using compass width = 5.1 cm and taking S as center Draw an arc

Step 3 : Using compass width = 5.5 cm and taking P as center Draw an arc such that it intersects arc drawn in previous step at E

Step 4 : Join PE & SE

ΔPSE is constructed

Construct ΔTSV

Draw an acute angle at S on PS

Take  point at equal distance on by one

Join 5th point  with P

Draw a line parallel to that passing through 3rd point and intersecting PS at T

Draw a line parallel to PE passing through T and intersecting SE at V

ΔTSV  is constructed
