Pseudopodia are locomotory structures seen most frequently in amoeba, formed from microfilaments present in cytoplasm as cytoskeleton. These appendages aren't permanent and can aquire any shape thus k/a false feet, along with locomotive function they are also helpful in catching of prey, helps in engulfment (endoctosis) and formation of food vacuoles.
