In triangle AOT,

AT/OT=cos 30 degree

AT/4=√3/2

AT=4√3/2

AT=2√3

Answer: AT = 2√3 cm

Step-by-step explanation: ∆ OAT is a right angled triangle(OA is perpendicular to AT - radius is perpendicular to tangent )

In rt.∆OAT, angle OTA = 30° (given)

Cos 30° = AT/OT

√3/2 = AT/4

AT = 2√3 cm
