Evaporation is where a liquid changes into its gaseous state at all temperatures. Example - Water evaporating from rivers and lakes to form clouds.
It differs from boiling as boiling occurs only at a fixed temperature and that temperature is different for various liquids. Example - Water boils at 100°C
We don't see evaporation occur as it happens at all temperature and after it evaporates we cannot see it, however we can feel the humidity and moisture in the air.
