pulse rate increases during exercise because as during exercise our body needs oxygen for getting energy ,heart pump fast in order to supply oxygen..hence the pulse rate also increases... ..

The pulse rate increases during the exercise because...the heart must beat faster during exercise because by increasing the heart rate, the body is able to increase the required blood flow to the muscles. And also during exercise the muscles' activity level increases and consume more oxygen...to keep the pace normal..the heart beats faster and provides the muscles with required oxygen...so the pulse rate increases during exrecise.
