No. of beats=No. of vibration=80
Time=1min=60 sec
Frequency=Vibration÷ Time
=80÷60
=4÷3
=1.33Hz

The frequency of the heart beat in one second is 1.333 Hz.

Given Data:

Pulse rate of human heart is 80 beats per one minute.

Solution:

1 minute = 60 seconds

For 60 seconds, the human heart beats for 80 beats.

\frac{80}{60}=1.333

If the heart beats about 80 beats a minute means, the frequency becomes 1.333Hz.

The frequency of the heart increases proportionally with increase in the heart beat per minute.

So,

\frac{80}{60} which is equal to 1.333

The frequency of the heart beat is calculated in Hertz.
