Answer:

The sentences with proper punctuation will be as follows-

(a) Where does Ram live?

(b) India is my country.

(c) She has eaten apples, mangoes and grapes.

Explanation:

What is punctuation?

Punctuation is the use of spacing, conventional signs and capital letters in the proper place of a sentence in order to make it more understanding and pleasing to hear.

Some common examples of Punctuation -

1. Capital letter - While writing the names of proper nouns, we use the capital letter for the first alphabet.

For example - Ravi had gone to the market.

2. Full Stop - Full stop is used to indicate the end of a sentence or to follow an abbreviation.

For example - I have never seen you.

3. Question Mark - A question mark is used at the end of an interrogative sentence, instead of a full stop.

For example - Where are you going?

4. Comma - A comma is used to separate different ideas in a sentence. When there are more than two ideas in a sentence, we write those using commas.

For example - I bought a dozen of eggs, two bread, three bottles of milk and four apples from the market.

5. Exclamation mark - An exclamation mark is used to end an exclamatory sentence. It denotes strong emotions like joy, sorrow, anger, hatred etc.

For example - What a beautiful flower!

  • Here in the 1st sentence "Ram" is proper noun. So the initial "R" will be capital and as it is an interrogative sentence, there will be "Question Mark" at the end of the sentence.
  • In the 2nd sentence, there will be "Full Stop" at the end of the sentence as is an assertive sentence.
  • In the 3rd sentence, there will be "Comma" after "apples" and "Full Stop" at the end of the sentence.
