distance covered by him in one minute is =(120×0.75)m=90m

so..his speed is

=90m/min

=(90/60)m/sec

=1.5 m/sec

Given -

• Steps taken = 120 steps
• length of each step = 75 cm /0.75m
• Time taken = 1 min/ 60 sec

Now total distance = (120 × 0.75)m

Total distance = 90 m

Time taken= 60 sec

Speed = 90/60

Speed = 1.5 m/sec
