What if a robber steals a precious diamond ring from your house but he isn't punished for seating it? Don't you think that he will steal something again? Yes he will definitely do it. If he gets punished then he'll realise his mistake and he will never repeat that mistake again. In the same way, it is very important to punish students for doing something wrong. Descipline is most important part of learning. Students may feel humiliated because of getting punished but it is a part of building a foundation for their better future. Imagine a class where no one is paying attention towards what teacher is teaching. Do you think that children will understand anything that is taught by the teacher? NO... No one will understand it. Do you think a mischievous student will not disturb other students? NO... He will disturb everyone else. So it is important to punish students. If they aren't punished then they'll never understand the meaning of Descipline.
