Pupil shrinks in size on entering in bright sunshine from a dark hall. Give reason.

Pupil shrinks and enlarges depending on the size of light that gets in.pupil shrinks on excessive light after coming from dark room because when we were in dark room our pupil was big or (sometimes be in normal due to darkness) and it suddenly shrinks when it is exposed to very bright light and your eyes need to protect internal nerves they get damaged in excessive light.
