Pure water does not conduct electricity. However, when a small amount of acid, base
or salt is added, it starts conducting. Why?​

Answer:

pure water or fresh water or distilled water does not contain impurities.. So therefore it doesn't conduct electricity.Any impurities, like salts, in the water enable it to conduct electricity.

Because, the acid, base and salt are the good conductor of electricity...
