pure water is always what (hypertonic, hypotonic, and isotonic) compared to any cell? why?

Pure water is always hypotonic because cells rely upon minerals and there is some dissolved minerals in the cell which shows that concentration is higher.

Pure water is always hypotonic because no other solution can have less conc. Than pure water.
