Pushp Ki Abhilasha is written by Makhanlal chaturvedi. It is very lively poem that depicts the wishes of a flower.

When the gardener plucks a flower from the garden, he asks the flower if it wants to be adorned as a garland or to lie on the feet of the God.

The beautiful flower replied that it doesn't wish to adorn or beautify any object or living being. But it wants the gardener to lay it on the road through which soldiers of the country are going to the battlefield. Getting crushed under their holy feet will be the greatest blessing for the flower.
