The cell will swell up because salt solution is hypertonic and osmosis takes place

When a drop of blood is added to a salt solution, water moves out of the blood cells into the salt solution by the process of plasmolysis.
This happens because the salt solution acts as a hypertonic solution and has a higher solute concentration as compared to that of the blood cells.
So, in order to maintain equilibrium, water moves from a region of lower solute concentration( blood cells) to a region of higher solute concentration( salt solution), thereby causing the cells to shrink and become flaccid.
