Speech marks are punctuation marks used to express a dialogue/speech.

Example: I said,"We are watching a movie."

1. "I had a great time!", said Veronica.

2. "Hello!", he called out and waved to me.

3. "Could you lend me a hand?", Alicia asked Sam.

4. "The dog ate up all the biscuits!", she cried.

5. Jason said,"The soup needs more pepper."

6. "Could I have a glass of water?", she requested.

7. "Pick up that book from the floor", said Seema.

8. "Please leave the window open", Saira told Ayan.

9. "The room needs to be cleaned", her mother told her.

10. "Goodnight", he said. "I am sleepy. Will you tuck me in?"

11. "Where do you live?", the policeman asked the wounded man.

12. "Did you see a dog around here?", asked the worried woman.

Hope it helps :)
