The adverbs will be added in the sentence:

a.Mr.Sharma died suddenly as the family was getting ready to go for the wedding.

b.My grandfather arrived early to avoid the traffic rush.

c.The man profusely thanked me before the drove off.

d.The children admiringly clapped at the little girl's extraordinary performance.

e.The dog bit me hard when I was coming home from school.

f. The police, fortunately, has several photographs of the suspect.

e.Sunil abruptly left the room when he saw the bull coming in.

Rules to follow:

  • An adverb is that part of speech that adds information to the verb and describes it in detail. It usually ends in 'ly' form for most cases.
  • The pattern is to add the adverb following the verb in the sentence.
  • As we know the adverb describes a verb it will always come before the action is being performed.
  • So to add the adverbs in the sentences we look out for the verbs in all sentences, in example (a) the main verb is 'died' so the adverb 'suddenly' is added before that.
  • Similarly, in all the examples first, the main verb is identified and then the adverb from the bracket is added before that verb.
