Hey, If you can observe carefully , you see the pythagorean triples

We can see here in the following sequences , If L.H.S = R.H.S , then we can say it is an pythagorean triple :

---------------------

(i) 3 + 4 = 5

3² + 4² = 5²

9 + 16 = 25

25 = 25

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence it is a pythagorean triple

---------------------

(ii) 5 + 12 = 13

5² + 12² = 13²

25 + 144 = 169

169 = 169

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence it is a pythagorean triple

---------------------

(iii) 6 + 8 = 10

6² + 8² = 10²

36 + 64 = 100

100 = 100

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence it is a pythagorean triple

---------------------

As we can see all are pythagorean triples, 11 + 60 needs to be a pythagorean triple

Let :

11 + 60 = x

Use pythagorean triple to find x :

(11)² + (60)² = x²

121 + 3600 = x²

3721 = x²

√(3721) = √x²

61 = x

---------------------

Hence 11 + 60 = 61
