CRACK THE LOGIC ...!

A x 4 = E
B ÷ 4 = E
C + 4 = E
D - 4  = E

& A + B + C + D = 100

Find the value of E ?*

Given:

  • A x 4 = E
  • B ÷ 4 = E
  • C + 4 = E
  • D - 4  = E
  •  A + B + C + D = 100 -------------(1)

To Find:

  • Value of E

Solution:

It is given that,

\longrightarrow A\times4=E

\longrightarrow A=\dfrac{E}{4}

Also,

\longrightarrow \dfrac{B}{4}=E

\longrightarrow B=4E

Also,

⇒ C+4= E

⇒ C= 4-E

Also,

⇒ D-4= E

⇒ D= 4+E

Now, on putting values of A, B, C and D in (1), we get

\longrightarrow \bigg(\dfrac{E}{4}\bigg)+(4E)+(E-4)+(E+4)=100

\longrightarrow \dfrac{E}{4}+4E+E-4+E+4=100

\longrightarrow \dfrac{E}{4}+6E=100

\longrightarrow \dfrac{E+24E}{4}=100

\longrightarrow E+24E=100\times4

\longrightarrow 25E=400

\longrightarrow\pink{E=\dfrac{\cancel{400}}{\cancel{25}}}

\longrightarrow E=16

Hence, the value of E is 16.

C+4 =E

C=E-4

D-4 =E

D=E+4

A+B+C+D =100

E/4 + 4E +E-4 +E+4 =100

25E/4 =100

E=16
