Given:

  • A series pattern is given

              3, 4 = 11

              12, 8 = 63

              9, 6 = 64

              12 , 10 = ?

To Find:

  •    Missing number of the series.

Solution:

Following pattern is used in this series

 Consider number 3, 4 = 11

Step -1     Find difference of digits  3 from 4 , answer is 1

Step -2   Difference of digits within the number (1-1) is 1

Step -3    Now find difference between result of step 1 and step second,

                 that is 1

By using above pattern find remaining numbers

                ⇒   (12-8)-(6-3) =1

                ⇒   (4-3)-(1-1)   =1

               ⇒    (9-6)-(6-4) =1

Resultant of all numbers are same i.e. 1

So

               ⇒    (12-10) - (4-3)=1

Thus, the missing number is 43
