Pythagoras theorem :- p² + b² = h²

  • p ⟹ Perpendicular
  • h ⟹ Hypotenuse
  • b ⟹ Base

 \bf Given,

a ➝ 10

b ➝ 24

c = ?

So to find the solution we will use the theorem here -

  • a² + b² = c²

⟹ (10)² + (24)² = c²

⟹ 100 + 576 = c²

⟹ 676 = c²

\bf \sqrt{676} = c

 \red \therefore \bf \red{c = 26 } \pink{[ Answer ] }

Therefore part c is 26 cm.

Additional Information -

Note :- When we will remove the square from c² then only c will left and square(^2) will be square root in the front number ( 676 ) that is √676.

Example :- c² = 25 then c = √25 means 5 is the answer.

➝5 × 5 = 25 so 5 is the answer.

Like that,

➝ 26 × 26 = 676 so, 26 is the answer.

Hope this helps you :)
