TPS: then you dont deal with y^4 questions. the root should not be above y. y should be outside the root.

If you try solving it as it is given, you will get a equation of degree 4 which is not in 10th class. Morever, two of its roots are complex roots which is not dealt in 10th class.

So I think question has a mistake. The y should be outside the root.

I have taken the following equation:

 {y}^{2}  +  \frac{3}{2}  \sqrt{5} \:  y - 5 = 0 \\
